We had a great turn-out for ClimatePalooza 2014! Thank you to all of our attendees, volunteers, co-sponsors, and organizing staff! Special thanks to Visions & Voices, the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Read more about the success of the event here. ClimatePalooza 2014 will be held on March 28th, 2014 from 3-9pm in the Annenberg building. Follow us to see more!

ClimatePalooza is a collaborative effort by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and USC’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism to put a different focus on climate change. On January 24, 2013 we held the first ClimatePalooza! This year we are hosting it again as a Visions & Voices event! Scientists, communicators, faculty and students from across USC will approach climate preservation as the most extraordinary, exhilarating and challenging venture that our society has yet faced: climate change. JPL’s scientists and their satellite visualizations will show us what is happening to the biosphere and why. USC researchers will show us what is under way at this campus. All participants will have a chance to engage and meet new colleagues. We will also have dramatic and comedic performances from USC Theater students and the Lollygaggers.

This free-of-charge evening will be held at USC, and will feature presentations and exhibits by JPL scientists and others. There will also be a research competition that demonstrates the range of climate-related research at USC. If you would like to submit research or presentations to be exhibited, please fill out this form.
